Pelupa, lagi. Momnesia

Aku pernah menulis pasal pelupa dan terlupa sebelum ni. ( Disini, dan disini).

Lepas bersalin anak no 2 ni, pelupa aku makin melampau. Org kaitkan benda ni dgn momnesia iaitu keadaan dimana ibu mengandung, dan ibu yg baru melahirkan anak kerap terlupa. Perkataan yg biasa aku cakap pun aku lupa. Benda yg aku nk buat pun aku boleh lupa dlm 5 saat. Pergi dapur nk buat susu anak, sampai dapur aku tertanya, kenapa aku pergi dapur? Nak pergi kerja, lupa kat mana aku letak kunci kereta. Merata la aku pusing satu rumah nk cari kunci kereta. Alahai. Makin parah pulak. Aku google la pasal momnesia ni. Ni yg aku dapat:

Momnesia! What is it? The term momnesia is a term first coined by pediatrician Dr. Tanya Altman. Momnesia refers to the memory challenges mommies face in their 26th week of conception through the first 6-12 months of motherhood. Additional insight was revealed by neuropsychiatrist Dr. Louann Brizendine. Brizendine is the founder of the Women’s and Teen Girls’ Mood and Hormone Clinic at the University of California, San Francisco and author of The Female Brain. In her book, Dr. Brizendine discusses the impact of the biological and hormonal changes motherhood brings. For example, she says a big boost in the feel-good hormone oxytocin and other changes contribute to a shift in a mother’s priorities. Dr. Brizendine, who jokingly refers to the entry to motherhood as the “invasion of the brain snatchers” writes, “The parts of the brain responsible for focus and concentration are preoccupied with protecting and tracking the newborn for the first six months.” She elaborates the additional oxytocin released during breast feeding can “heighten and prolong this unfocused state.” The severity varies from mom to mom.
Menurut laman web bable.com, Momnesia ni boleh dikaitkan dgn kondisi badan siibu yg bersedia utk kelahiran sianak:

That’s because a set of neurons known as the amygdala help process memory and drive emotional reactions like fear, anxiety, and aggression. After a woman gives birth, activity in the amygdala grows and makes her hypersensitive to her baby’s needs. Not only that, but pregnancy hormones do their thing too. All of that combines to basically take over mom’s brain with EVERYTHING BABY. Scientists have said that becoming a parent — at least in the brain — looks a lot like falling in love. Affection for baby, anxiety about baby’s well-being — all of this new brain action shoves less important stuff out your ears. “You only have so many shelves in your brain, so the top three are filled with baby stuff,” Louann Brizendine, MD, director of the Women’s Mood and Hormone Clinic at the University of California, San Francisco,  tells WebMD.
A British study also shows hormones may also affect spatial memory — which includes remembering where things are — in pregnant women and new moms. Some doctors even speculate there’s an evolutionary angle. Women’s health expert Donnica Moore, MD, tells WebMD, “It has been postulated that, from an evolutionary standpoint, this memory impairment may be helpful so that women will forget about other stuff and focus on caring for the child.”

Haaaa. Itu la sebab kenapa pelupa aku mmg dah tahap gaban. Kadang-kadang rasa kesian dgn diri sendiri, kadang-kadang rasa kecewa dgn diri sendiri. Tapi nk buat mcmana, sbb lumrah alam. Anak tu sendiri adalah kurniaan Allah. Rasa pelupa tu, letak la tepi kejap. Hahaha.
